Khussa's, kohla puri's, Mojri's, Saleem Shahi's  have been boon of many desi women's existence as as churidar & tang pajamas are incomplete at best, if not paired with either one of the two choices mentioned above. The trick, however, is to find the one that matches with your outfit.

Adorned with sequins & intricate hand embroidery, Khussas are available in some very outrage albeit funky colors - hot pink, flaming orange, parrot green, royal blue, tomato red to name a few-& can be worn with skirts, shalwar kameez & even with Jeans or pant.

For those of you who have a penchant for beaded sequined & brightly colored footwear, these new 'single back' khussas very similar to the ballet shoes may be just the thing for you. While they look pretty much like their conventional counterparts, there is a slight difference they are open from the back, quite like the mules that you may wear to work every now & then.

Some are pointed while others come with heels, making them perfect for work and just about any formal event as well. Of course, they are bound to hurt a bit the first time you wear them, but coating the inside with petroleum jelly or water takes care of problem.
